The Beetle was the It car among the young in my college days. Saving up for one was primary motivation among male students to sign up with fast food chains, in that time limited to just Chowking, Jollibee and McDonalds (one branch each then). Today, I don’t think working students would be able to make a purchase of the new Beetle solely on wages of their after-school work. Anyway. The Beetle’s back and with vengeance!
