What’s unique working in I/NGOs is you talk about disasters and poverty and make plans to address these over good food and relative comfort. It makes sense, actually. It would be a feat if one could produce bright ideas six days a week inside a hut with no heating and electricity and with just root crops as nourishment. I bet instead of complete sentences coming out of your brain, it’ll be an entanglement of roots. And if you were in school, you’d be what teachers like to call bobo, or a hopeless dimwit.
