Dictionary of English-Benguet dialects

The 4-in-1 dictionary which claims to be the first in Benguet is authored and self published by Mrs. Narcisa Atos-Ramos who was born to Ibaloi parents from Bokod and Kabayan but was raised in the City.

“This dictionary was formed to encourage this generation and the coming generations to understand, speak and be able to communicate the original dialect of their town in the Province of Benguet. Having been brought up in the City where most people speak Ilocano, Filipino and English, this book will help them learn to speak Ibaloi, Kalanguyah and Kankana-ey,” reads the preface.

The dictionary is available in selected local bookstores, at the Benguet State University Marketing Center and at the Benguet Provincial Capitol Museum.  At PHP250.00.
